Overview: Shadowravenloft started it's roots as a mostly AU LS back on IRO and then left that game and came on board to the world of FF11. And now the shell carries on over into FF14 but now the LS has grown into people from all area's of the world, but mostly consists of AU, EU, and NA members. But anyone is welcome to join, being a social LS our doors are open to everyone.
Thus being said, not everyone will get along and play nicely with each other. After all we are all human and do have tendencies that will eventually annoy or irritate someone else in the linkshell at some point. So to deal with how to handle such matters there are rules and conducts which to abide by in the LS. The more you work at applying these rules, the more fun and social the LS can be.

Rules & Conduct

Rule #1: We expect LS members to abide by the TOS (Terms of Service) Agreement that you "Agreed" with when you installed FFXI onto your system. That means no hacking, no botting, and no use of third party software, even for stuffing around with the game.
–-Yes we are aware that some members will use 3rd party programs to play the game. If you do use them that is your personal choice and option to do so. However we ask that do not encourage other members to use such programs, or gloat and brag about such said programs. All that we are saying here really is that we wish for members to play the game as it was intended to be played by the company. If you choose, however, to use 3rd party programs that choice is still entirely up to you.

Rule #2: LS chat - please keep language civil. Racial, sexual, religious or any otherwise discriminatory slurs will not be tolerated. Please refrain from swearing in ls chat/events where possible.
–-We do understand that at times this game will be frustrating and you will want to vent. That is understandable that occasionally a swear word will appear time to time in the LS chat. However we do not want our LS chat filled up with foul degrading language or slandering of another player. You will be warned up to 3 times. If it persists you will be removed from the shell. The main point of this shell is for people to converse while having fun. Have speech that is up-building towards one another, help out with information if a question appears and you know the answer.
–-The tongue is like a fire, think of how a little fire if not tamed can cause a wildfire in a mere matter of time. So too can an unbridled tongue start up a heated argument amongst people that can occur into causing divisions in the LS or people to leave. So do not debase anyone or have talk that is injurious and unruly.

Rule #3: Gilselling/buying will not be tolerated. If you're going to do that, go and find another LS now!
–-This rule speaks for itself. The LS will not tolerate anyone purchasing or selling gil. Our LS will not have that kind of reproach brought upon its name.

Rule #4: The Linkshell can only hold up to 128 members. And we are usually close to being on cap. That being said there will eventually be times where the Linkshell will undergo a "cleaning". This cleaning will remove Alternate characters that are rarely played (aka peoples mules), members that have quit or gone inactive for a period of over 90 days (3 months) without notifying anyone, and even members that do not socialize or even talk in the Linkshell but are always online. That's almost akin to being inactive, we are a social LS, so please talk and have fun :3 interact with others and be lively.
